So far, only Mercy at Adyel Boarding primary school has a direct long-term sponsor, which secures stability and steady academic development. As a small organisation that is dependent on donations, we continuously fear that financial resources may be reduced and then not be sufficient to support all of the children. Please help us bring stability their lives: Become a Sponsor!
Note
In Uganda we have different levels of education:
- Nursery Level for babies from the age of three (ranging from Baby class, middle class and Top class).
- Second level is called Primary education which takes seven years (primary 1 to 7).
- Third level of education is called Secondary education. It takes four years to attain the Ordinary level certificate and two years to finish the Advanced level.
After having completed all these level, pupils can join the university or any institution of higher learning.
The academic year is split into 3 terms and each term takes approximately three month.
